[...] despite of the lack of training in the past, i was able to finish the race comfortably. i placed 16th overall and 4th in my age category. see the race result here. [...]

  3. Trixie Says:

My friends and I enjoyed the well-organized run. The weather was great, the race route was challenging and lots of water was provided. Just one thing: why no age category for the 15K? We are 45 years old & above.

  4. Wayne Says:

Hi Coach Rio. Salamat po! This was a very well organized race and have done a few of them. Congratulations to you, the staff, the sponsors and VSO for a terrific job!

I vow that this won’t be my last Rio sponsored race. Hopefully, I’ll be back sometime in 2009 (definitely 2010)! Good luck in all of the future events and I’ll see you in Clark this coming weekend!

    Hi,

I ran the 5K (female) race last Sunday but could not find my name in the results. My bib#752.

    Thanks.

This race was terrific! I wasn’t expecting much, but the water stations were plenty. I never felt thirsty all the way because I was drinking at every water station. Great race! However the race results weren’t so accurate. My GF’s number, 1461, was in the 10K men’s results. And her name is not Eduardo Cabiles. I think it’s the fault of those who distributed the race kits.

  9. Clint Says:

Hi Rio. Congrats on another super event. It was my first 10k race (only 5ks previously) and I’m happy with the results. The official time tallied with my watch! I will try to join all your race events. It’s good the results came out pretty fast……. galing mo man!!!!
I saw a few professional photographers snapping their DSLR cameras along the race route, where can I view those pictures?
    More power to you Rio!!!!!

  10. Elmer Says:

It was really an amazing event. That was the first time i join this kind of sport. Thank God that i was able to finished 137th in place, although i didn’t run this far for a couple of years. I really enjoy seeing everybody working together for a cause. :-) God Bless everyone.

    good job as always Rio!

  12. Susie Avellanosa Says:

The race is really great..I was able to finish the 10K race inspite of the hilly road. There’s plenty of water and energy drinks, you will never get thirsty plus the very warm weather. My only comment : the race did not start on time a little bit delayed on the 5:30AM announcement. See you in Clark this weekend.

  13. Jonie Rebekah Says:

As my third race, I enjoyed the large crowd that came out for some good competition. I ended up placing 2nd on my category and 7th overall. Thanks for posting race results so quickly!

The best race of the year so far; lots of water/Rush, presence of distance markers, many road marshals, challenging race route, accurate distance, smooth flow in the finish line, quick publication of results and most importantly I was able to beat my previous 10K time
