Hi Ogy,

I am responding on your comments at Runrio.

Please be informed that we don't change the results solely based on what the runners tell us. When we initially release the results, all of the unknown finishers are omitted. Remember that we are among the few if not the only race organizer who makes it a point to provide a copy of the result within the race day.

A number of unknown finishers always pop up on large scale races due to our less than perfect registration process. What we are doing when we revise the results is only give identity to those unknown finishers. If we have no proof that a runner has finished, regardless of the claims, we don't usually entertain.

For the spirit of fairness, don't think those who legitimately finished deserved to be recognized?

regards,
Jon

Why are times different in the new bike results? I went from 57:00 to 32:15. Order is still the same, which is what matters most I guess.

Sir, i think it was kind of unfair that the results were changed just like that! I sent an email even before the results were changed but my appeal wasn't even entertained. If you could, please give a basis on how the changes were made and how the people proved that they came first or that they even finished. If the Marshall on race day decided that they did not finish, then why even entertain there requests? It's as if we have footage to even prove those who finished... this is the first time I'm hearing of a case like this in RACING where finishing positions matter.

The longest 10km race i've ever ran... seemed like there was an extra 2-3km stretch of winding trail. It was worth the sweat.

Congratulations to everyone ^^

race was fun and challenging... ang daming u-turns sa loob ng trail...

just one concern though, like the teams or clubs of affiliation. upon registration we wrote our "team name" on the form, yet when the final result was published it wasn't included. We all know that it is the pride of the team to be known by our fellow cyclist. So if you can still make changes to it, please do. If not then maybe next time.

btw, the winners of the Men's Category 20 to 30 yrs old (beginner) are both from TEAM GANIT (1st and 3rd place)...

thanks..
