Hello Runners! We know all of you are all looking forward and excited to participate on this Sunday’s 35th Milo Marathon Manila elimination race. We here at Runrio, Inc. are all excited and eagerly waiting to deliver this great and legendary race for all of you.

As we all know that serious preparations are now under way for this race, we would like to share to everyone of you who will be going to the race venue – SM Mall of Asia- riding in their private vehicles, the available Car Parks within the vicinity of the SM Mall of Asia:

- Block 12 – event area
- Block 16 carpark
- Imax parking
- Discovery parking
- Block 2
- Block 14
- South open parking facing SMX
- North Parking Building
- South Parking Building

Milo Approves Additional 5km Slots for the 35th Milo Marathon Manila Leg

July 12 2011 

Milo via Runrio, Inc. .announced today that they are opening additional slots for the 5km race category of the 35th Milo Marathon Manila Eliminations. This announcement was made after Milo finally decided to give-in to thenumerous requests that they and Runrio, Inc as this year’s race organizer, have been receiving.

Here are some guidelines/important facts related to the opening of additional 5km race category slots:

1. Slots are limited only and will be available only via In-Store registration (ONLINE Registrants will not be able to register for 5km).
2. Slots available at the stores will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Registration for this limited 5km slots will start tomorrow, July 13, 2011.
4. There will be no baggage counters for 5km and also the 3km race categories. This has been an existing policy of the yearly Milo Marathon race event.
5. Due to the large number of registrants to the 5km race category, runners will be released in waves with three (3) minutes interval each at gun start.

The following stores will be available to accept Milo Marathon Manila Elimination registration:

• RUNNR Store, Bonifacio High Street (registration will be available until July 21)
• Planet Sports, Trinoma (registration will be available until July 21)
• Toby’s, SM Mall of Asia (registration will be available until July 17)

35th Milo Marathon Manila Elim Race Update

July 9 2011

Hello Everyone! The Regular Registration Period for the 35th Milo Marathon Manila Leg will only be until tomorrow, July 10, 2011. By Monday, July 11, the late Registration period will be start with the following stores as registration venues:

• RUNNR Store, Bonifacio High Street (registration will be available from July 11 to 21)
• Planet Sports, Trinoma (registration will be available from July 11 to 21)
• Toby’s, SM Mall of Asia (registration will be available from July 11 to 17)

Please do note though that:

• There are no more 5km slots available
• Slots for 3km, 10km, 21km and 42.195km, though still currently available, can also be sold-out earlier than the last date of registration.
• Singlet size availability are now on a limited stocks basis and that your preferred singlet size might not be available anymore upon registration

The 35^th Milo Marathon Manila Eliminations will be held on July 31, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds. Boasting of 5 race categories 3k Kiddie Run, 5K Fun Run, 10K, 21K and the challenging 42.195k elimination race.

Online registration period is from June 6, 2011 to July 10, 2011 only. Delivery of race kits will start on June 17, 2011.

TIME LIMITS:

Runners should reach a particular distance within the time limit specified to be allowed to continue with the race. Otherwise, runner must stop running and board the official vehicle. They are automatically disqualified and will be taken directly to the finish venue.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

• • Registration may end earlier than announced deadline therefore; race kits may run out before July 21, 2011.
  • A valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
  • Singlet size availability will be on a first come first served basis.
  • A disposable timing device will be used by all participants during the race.
  • Finishers in all categories within the cut-off time will receive a certificate of finish.
  • All 21-K finishers within the cut-off time will receive a finisher’s medal and loot bag.
  • All 42.195K finishers within the cut-off time will receive a finisher’s medal, a loot bag,and an exclusive finisher’s shirt.
