Founded in 2007 by elite runner and UP Diliman alumnus Rio de la Cruz, RUNRIO INC. began as Entraineur Events & Sports Management. Rio, an international marathoner and sought-after running coach, established the company with a vision to grow and sustain the running community in the Philippines.

As the local running scene flourished, the demands of runners went beyond well-planned routes. RUNRIO responded by investing in innovations that elevated the standard of organized sporting events in the country. Over the years, the company has become the driving force behind many of the nation's most prestigious races, including the RUNRIO Trilogy, National MILO Marathon, Earth Day Run, Manila Marathon, and more.
